Indian Head, Half Eagle, Five Dollars Gold Coin $15.00 each. These extremely popular privately minted 24K Gold coins brings back the famous Indian Head Half Eagle design. This final type of half eagle was first produced in 1908. The composition, weight, and diameter of the coin remained unchanged from previous versions, but both the obverse and reverse were drastically altered. This series is unique in United States coinage because the design and inscriptions are stamped in incuse, rather than being raised from the surface, meaning that the flat surfaces are the highest points of the coin. The obverse depicts an Indian head wearing a feathered headdress. The reverse depicts a perched eagle with the inscriptions "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST". These coins are not an official government issue, but are a privately minted commemorative issue that is clad in 99.9% pure premium 24K Gold! These coins are high quality collectables. These coins make a great gift or addition to your collection! Each coin comes in a sealed Mylar Coin flip to protect it. Photos show front and back views. These stunningly beautiful coins are just $15.00 each! Dates and mints available vary. If you want a particular year or mint be sure to check to see what I have available!
