1939 Arkansas Centennial Silver Half Dollar just $15.00. The Arkansas Centennial Silver Commemorative Half Dollar was designed by Edward Everett Burr. The Arkansas Half Dollar was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the admittance of Arkansas into the Union. The obverse of the coin features an eagle perched upon a rising sun holding a banner inscribed with "IN GOD WE TRUST" at left and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" at right. The reverse shows heads of an Indian Chief of 1836 and an American Girl of 1936. These coins are a great symbol of American history!
